8.5 Recording paper jam

The display will show the following.

PAPER JAMMED

8.5.1When the recording paper has jammed near the drum and toner unit

1Remove the handset and document stacker.

2Lift open the front cover (1), holding the OPEN tab (2).

Caution:

The fuser unit (3) gets hot. Do not touch it.

3Remove the jammed paper (1) carefully by pulling it toward you.

LDo not touch the transfer roller (2).

4Close the front cover (1) by pushing down on both sides, until locked.

5Place the handset on the cradle and attach the document stacker.

8.5.2When the recording paper has jammed near the recording paper exit

1Remove the handset and document stacker.

2Lift open the front cover (1), holding the OPEN tab (2).
