Zoom dependent speed by default is turned off. When the zoom-dependent function is turned off, then the pan and tilt speeds of the UPH are unaffected by the zoom measurement of the camera/lens combination. If the zoom-dependent function is turned on, the zoom measure- ment of the camera/lens combination affects the pan and tilt speeds. This is useful when the zoom is in telephoto (i.e. zoomed in); it slows down the pan and tilt speeds so that very fine adjustments can be made to follow moving subjects.
