-Headphones jack, Level control

(HEADPHONE, HEADPHONE VOLUME)

Located on rear panel.

ÖThe headphone jack is provided only to allow confir- mation of the disc sound; as a result, the volume pro- vided by the headphone output may seem insuffi- cient when listening within a disco or other environ- ment characterized by high sound volume.

=TEMPO control range button (TEMPO ±10/±16)

Each time this button is pressed, the tempo adjustment range produced by the TEMPO control slider toggles between the two range ±10% and ±16%. When the range is switched, the newly selected range (10.0 or 16.0) flashes on the display for about two seconds.

ÖThe adjustment range defaults to ±10% when power is first turned ON.

Press this button to open the disc compartment door.

ÖWhen pressed during playback, disc rotation stops before the door opens.

@Jog dial (+ FWD/– REV) ] P. 18

#TEMPO control knob

The playback tempo can be changed with this knob. The center clicked position is for normal playback tempo. If you slide the knob (down) towards you (+ side), the music tempo quickens. If the knob is away from you (– side), the music tempo slows.

$Disc compartment door

Press the EJECT button to open the door. To close the door, push gently on the front of the door.

In order to prevent interference with outside sounds and to enhance operation of the jog dial, the disc compartment door is designed with a two-point locking mechanism. To close the door, press the door down firmly in the center, at the position just in front of the jog dial.

-Prise de casque d’écoute, Commande de niveau (HEADPHONE, HEADPHONE VOLUME)

Elles sont situées sur le panneau arrière.

ÖLa prise de casque est prévue uniquement pour permettre la confirmation du son du disque; par conséquent, le son obtenu à la sortie du casque peut paraître insuffisant quand on écoute dans un disco ou dans un milieu où le volume est habituellement élevé.

=Touches de plage de contrôle de tempo (TEMPO ±10/±16)

A chaque poussée sur cette touche, la plage de réglage du tempo obtenu par le curseur de contrôle TEMPO permute entre les deux plages disponibles (±10% et ±16%). Quand la plage est changée, la nouvelle (10,0 ou 16,0) clignote pendant deux secondes environ sur l’affichage.

ÖLa plage de réglage est ramenée par défaut à ±10% lors de la première mise sous tension.

!Touche d’éjection (EJECT0)

Appuyer sur cette touche pour ouvrir le volet de chargement du disque.

ÖSi vous appuyez sur cette touche pendant la lecture, l’entraînement du disque s’arrête et le volet s’ouvre.

#Bouton de réglage TEMPO

Ce bouton permet de changer le tempo de lecture. La position du cliquet central correspond au tempo de lec- ture normale. Si on déplace le bouton vers soi (sens “+”), le tempo devient plus rapide. Si on déplace le bouton en sens inverse (sens “–”), le tempo devient plus lent.

$Volet de chargement du disque

Appuyer sur la touche EJECT pour ouvrir le volet. Appuyer doucement sur l’avant du volet pour le refermer.

Pour éviter des interférences avec des sons extérieurs et pour améliorer le fonctionnement de la molette pas-à-pas, le volet du logement du disque est doté d’un mécanisme de verrouillage à deux points. Pour refermer le volet, appuyez fermement en son centre, à l’endroit juste sur l’avant de la molette pas-à-pas.
