7 Cleaning and Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

CAUTION!

Use caution to prevent any fluid from entering the Check O2 Plus .

–DO NOT soak or immerse the Check O2 Plus in fluid.

–DO NOT autoclave or expose the Check O2 Plus to ethylene oxide sterilization.

Wipe down the exterior surfaces of the Check O2 Plus with a moist cloth and mild hand or dish soap (pH 6–8).

7.2 Maintenance

•Replace the batteries with high quality AA Alkaline or Lithium batteries. DO NOT use rechargeable batteries.

•When not in use for periods greater than 30 days, remove the batteries to protect the unit from potential battery leakage.

•Store the Check O2 Plus between –15° C and 60° C (5° F — 140° F)
