Call Pickup

You can access this feature with the softkeys only if your voice terminal has a display and if the feature’s abbreviation, CPkUp, appears on the second line of one of the feature option screens.

To answer a call placed to a member of your pickup group when your voice terminal is idle

1If you are using an 8411 with a display, press Menu and then press the softkey below CPkUp

If your 8411 does not have a display or if CPkUp is not available on your display, press CallPickup

or Dial Call Pickup access code __________

Called voice terminal stops ringing

You are connected to ringing call

Conference

To add another party to a call 1

Press

Conf

[dial tone]

(for a total of up to six parties)

Present call is put on hold, and you are given a new call

 

 

appearance; all other parties remain connected to each

Dial number of new party and wait for answer

 

Note: You can privately discuss the call with the new party

 

at this time; if no answer or busy, press fluttering
