To change a regular call into a 1

If you are using an 8411 with a display, press

Menu

and then

priority call (when you hear a

Note: If you still receive a call waiting ringback tone, wait a

 

few minutes and try again.

Select Ring (and Ringer Volume)

To select a personalized ring 1 Press Shift

Red light goes on steadily

2Press Hold

Red light next to Shift winks

Current ringing pattern plays and repeats every four seconds

If your 8411 has a display, it shows the ringing pattern you are hearing, such as:

SELECT RING PATTERN: 1

3Continue to press (and then release) Hold (or, if you are using

a display set, you can also press Next

or Prev ) to cycle through all eight ringing patterns
