EXIGENCES DE LA COMMISSION FƒDƒRALE

Si vous avez des probl•mes de tŽlŽphone, vŽrifiez dÕabord que vous avez bien suivi toutes les instructions dÕinstallations de ce guide. DŽterminez ensuite si le prob- l•me est causŽ par le Clarity ou par votre service tŽlŽphonique; pour ce faire, dŽbranchez le Clarity et branchez votre tŽlŽphone standard. Si le probl•me persiste, informez votre compagnie de tŽlŽphone. Si le probl•me vient de votre Clarity, relisez les procŽdures dÕinsta- llation et le guide de dŽpannage avant de vous rŽfŽrer ˆ la garantie limitŽe appar- aissant plus loin dans ce guide.

Votre appareil Clarity est enregistrŽ aupr•s de la Commission fŽdŽrale des Communi- cations (FCC). Cet Žquipement est conforme ˆ la section 68 de la rŽg- lementation du FCC. ConformŽment aux exigences du FCC, nous vous fournissons lÕinformation suivante:

1.Branchement et utilisation via le réseau téléphonique national

Le FCC exige que vous branchiez cet Žquipement au rŽseau tŽlŽphonique national via une prise modulaire portant le code USOC JR-11C. Cet Žquipement ne peut •tre utilisŽ avec une ligne multiple ou en tant que tŽlŽphone payant.

2. Avis à la compagnie de téléphone

Sur demande, vous devrez fournir ˆ votre compagnie de tŽlŽphone lÕinformation suivante:

A. La ÒligneÓ ˆ laquelle vous brancherez votre Žquipement (votre numŽro de tŽlŽphone)

B. Le numŽro dÕenregistrement du FCC et le numŽro dÕŽquivalence de sonnerie (REN) de votre appareil. Ces numŽros se trouvent en-dessous de votre appareil. Le REN sert ˆ dŽterminer le nombre dÕappareils pouvant •tre branchŽs ˆ une seule ligne tout en conservant leur sonnerie lors dÕun appel entrant. Dans la plupart des rŽgions, ce nombre ne dŽpasse pas cinq. Pour confirmer le nombre dÕappareils autorisŽs par le REN dans votre rŽgion, veuillez contacter votre compagnie de tŽlŽphone.

3. RÉPARATION

Si votre Žquipement tŽlŽphonique est dŽfectueux, le FCC exige quÕil ne soit pas utilisŽ et soit dŽbranchŽ jusquÕˆ ce que le probl•me soit rŽglŽ. Cet appareil ne peut •tre rŽparŽ que par le manufacturier ou ses agents autorisŽs, ou par dÕautres agents autorisŽs par le FCC. Pour les procŽdures de rŽparation, suivre les instructions indiquŽes dans la garantie limitŽe de Clarity.
