Getting Started with Your Phone

This chapter provides basic installation instructions and information for obtaining the best performance with the Polycom® CX700 IP phone.

The Polycom CX700 IP phone provides a complete phone experience for Microsoft® Lync™ 2010. The graphic display features flexible navigation using its touch screen capabilities, the navigation wheel just below the screen, or the traditional number keypad. The Polycom CX700 IP phone supports advanced functionality including:

Presence and directory enabled telephony

5.7” color touch screen

Windows CE

Wideband audio

2 USB ports

Biometric fingerprint reader
