BEFORE OPERATION SETTING THE CLOCK

To turn the unit on

Press one of the function buttons (TAPE/REV MODE, TUNER/BAND, CD).

Playback of the inserted disc or tape begins, or the previously tuned station is received (Direct Play Function). The POWER button is also available.

Pressing the zCD OPEN button turns the unit on as well.

After use

Press the POWER button to turn off the power. The display changes to the clock.

NOTE

When using on the batteries, you cannot turn the power on with the remote control.

To use the headphones

Connect headphones with a stereo mini plug (ø3.5 mm, 1/8 inch) to the PHONES jack.

No sound is output from the speakers while the headphones are plugged in.

When the power code is plugged into an AC outlet for the first time after purchase, the clock display flashes.

1 Press the CLOCK button.

(12-hour standard)

2 Turn the VOLUME/TIMER control to adjust the clock.

For quick adjustment, turn the control quickly.

You can also press the f or g button. Holding these buttons down will vary the time in 20-minute units.

3 Press the ENTER or abutton to complete the setting.

00 seconds.

To display the current time

Press the CLOCK button.

To return to the operation display, press the CLOCK button or one of the function buttons.

To switch to the 12/24-hour standard

While the clock is displayed, press the sbutton.

In the 12-hour standard, “AM 12:00” indicates midnight and “PM 12:00” indicates noon.

If the clock display flashes while the power is off This is caused by a power interruption. The current time needs to be reset.

If power is interrupted for more than approximately 12 hours, all settings stored in memory after purchase need to be reset.
