RANDOM PLAY

All the tracks on the disc can be played randomly.

1 In stop mode, press the MODE button on the remote control repeatedly until RANDOM lights up on the display.

2 Press the c(d) button to start play.

To cancel the random play

Press the MODE button twice in stop mode. RANDOM disappears and the normal display appears.

NOTE

Even if the fbutton is pressed, a previously played track cannot be skipped. The unit returns to the beginning of the current track only.

During random play, one-track repeat (" 1) cannot be performed.

If you select tracks with the numbered buttons, random play is canceled.

REPEAT PLAY

One track or all the tracks can be played repeatedly.

Press the REPEAT button repeatedly on the remote control.

Each time it is pressed, the play mode can be selected cyclically.

Only the current track is repeated. (" 1 is displayed.)

All the tracks are repeated. (" is displayed.)

The repeat play is canceled. (" disappears.)

To repeat random play

First press the MODE button to activate random play. Then press the REPEAT button so that " lights up on the display.

PROGRAMMED PLAY

Up to 30 tracks can be programmed from the inserted disc. Use the remote control.

1 In stop mode, press the MODE button on the remote control repeatedly until MEMO flashes on the display.

2 Press the numbered buttons and the +10 button to program a track.

Example:

To select the 12th track, press the +10 and 2 buttons. To select the 20th track, press the +10, +10 and 0 buttons.

Each time the gbutton is pressed in stop mode, a track number and program number will be displayed.

To clear the program

E

Press the sbutton in stop mode.

Removing the CD from the unit will also clear the program.

To add tracks to the program

Before playing, repeat step 2. The new track will be programmed after the last track.

To change the programmed tracks

Clear the program and repeat all the steps.

NOTE

If the total playing time of selected tracks exceeds 99 minutes and 59 seconds, or if a track number 31 or higher is selected, the total playing time of the selected tracks will be represented by --:--. Although the total playing time cannot be seen, the tracks are memorized.

During programmed play, the random play cannot be selected.
