Reversely, a too fine grind will not allow the water to pass though the coffee grinds quick enough, resulting in a very strong, over extracted, bitter coffee and possible water overflow from the filter basket. We recommend a MEDIUM grind, which gives the hot water the proper amount of interaction with the grinds in order to extract the best brewed coffee.

The Recipe is simply the proportion of water to ground coffee. Adjust the amount of ground coffee used to your taste. Less for milder coffee, more for stronger coffee. Below are our suggested proportions per cup.

8 Cups

8 Scoops (8-10 tablespoons)

6 Cups

6 Scoops (6-7 tablespoons)

4 Cups

4 Scoops (4-5 tablespoons)

2 Cups

2 Scoops (2 tablespoons)

 

 

Hint: 1 cup approximated for 6-8 oz of coffee.
