INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTTO

LUBRICACION DE BARRA Y CADENA

Siempre revisar nivel de aceite antes de usar unidad. Para aceitar la cadena, presione la tapa de aceite. No intente oper- ar el aceitador mientras este cortando con la unidad.El aceite se alimentara a la cadena y a la barra. Presione la tapa del aceite al menos una vez antes de iniciar la operacion de corte.Revise el nivel de aceite mirando en la ranura del tanque de aceite en la parte izquierda de la unidad.

PRECAUCION: Nunca deje

que le falte aceite de lubricación a la barra y cadena. Comiendo una sierra SECA o con MUY POCO ACEITE reducirá la eficiencia en el cortado, acortar la vida de su sierra, causando un desafilado rápido de la cadena y un desgaste excesivo de la barra por sobre calentamiento. Muy poco aceite es detectado por humo o decoloración de la barra.

NOTA: La cadena de la sierra se alarga durante el uso, particulamente cuando es nueva, y un ajuste ocasional será necesario. Una cadena nueva requiere mas fre- cuentemente cuando de un ajuste durante el periodo de acondicionamiento. Esto es normal. Vea la sección 10 para las instrucciones de Ajuste de la Tensión de la Cadena de la sierra.

ADVERTENCIA / PRECAUCION Una cade-

na suelta puede saltarse de la barra mientras usted esta cortando, lo mismo que desgastar la barra y cadena. Una cadena muy apretada puede dañar la sierra. En cualquier situación, una cadena muy suelta o muy apretada, puede resultar en serias lesiones personales.

CABLES DE EXTENSION

Cuando utilice una sierra de cadena eléctrica, conéctela con el cable de extensión solamente cuando esté listo para cortar madera. Conecte la extensión a un tomacorriente de 110/120 voltios.

NOTA: Para prevenir una desconección en el cable de extension, haga un nudo suelto antes de conectar las pun- tas (Figura 15).manija delantera.

1.Cuando use el aparato, un cable de extensión del tamaño adecuado deberá ser utilizado para prevenir la pérdida de poder y sobre calentamiento.

2.El cable de extensión debe estar diseñado espesifica- mente para uso en exteriores y marcado con SW-A, STW-A, STOW-A, SJW-A, SJOW-A, SJTOW-A, SJTW- A, o SJTW.

3.Inspeccione el cable de extensión de alambres sueltos o expuestos y daños en el aislado. Si se encuentra dañado, reemplacelo antes de usar el aparato.

Mantenga el cable alejado del área de corte y coloque el cable de manera que no quede atorado con ramus u otros objetos durante el cortado.

NO HAY PARTES DE SERVICIO PARA EL USUARIO ADENTRO DE LA SIERRA

No utilice el cable o lo conecte si está dañado. Su apara- to esta doblemente aislado parta ayudar pa proteger con- tra un choque eléctrico. Una construcción de aislación doble consiste en dos hileras separadas de aislación eléctrica.

Aparatos construidos con este sistema de aislación no son diseñados para hacer tierra. Como resulto, el cable de extención utilizado para su aparato puede ser enchufado a cualquier tomacorriente convencional de 120 voltios.
