Introduction

XMIM-16FSW and XMIM-24FSW are a 16-port 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Layer 2

switching MIM interface card and a 24-port 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Layer 2

switching MIM interface card, which can be installed on the MSR 30-11. Each

XMIM-16FSW provides sixteen ordinary 10/100 Mbps RJ45 connector interfaces,

while each XMIM-24FSW provides twenty-four 10/100 Mbps RJ45 connector

interfaces. Both XMIM-16FSW and XMIM-24FSW are suitable for a small

enterprise network to serve as a switching & routing device, which can be directly

connected to PCs and network devices of the enterprise. XMIM-16FSW and

XMIM-24FSW support the following functions:

A transmission distance of 100 meters (328.1 ft.) when connected with a

category-5 twisted pair cable (crossover or straight-through cable).

100 Mbps wire-speed forwarding between any ports when connected with a

category-5 twisted pair cable (crossover or straight-through cable).

Auto-sensing at a rate of 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps.

Full duplex and half duplex, of which full duplex is common.
