description: Sets the bits in the Operational Status Enable Su mmary Mask (OSESM) that enable the con-
tents of the OSESR to affect the Status Byte (STB).
Setting a bit in this register to 1 enables the corresponding bit in the OSE SR to affect bit 7 of
the Status Byte.
parameters: The bit value for the OSESM as a 16-bit signed integer val ue (0 .. +32767)
The default value is 0.
