Status System for 8166A/B
The status system for the Agilent 8166A/B Lightwave Multichannel
System returns the status of 17 module slots. The
Operational/Questionable Status Summary Registers consists of two
levels, as described by Figure5 .
Module slots 1 to 14 affect the Level 0 sum mary register as described in
Figure 4 . Bit 0 of the Level 0 summary registers r epresents the summary
of the sta tus of mo dule slo ts 15, 16 , and 17. The Leve l 1 summ ary regis ters
contain an individual summary for each of these module slots.
