Using Your Keyboard

The keyboard on the Macintosh PowerBook 3400 series computer works in much the same way as the keyboards on other computers and on electric typewriters. However, there are a few special keys you should know about. Many of these keys allow you to give commands to the computer without using the trackpad. For example, in many application programs, you can press the x (Command) key at the same time as the Q key to quit a program.
