Configuring Telnet Idle Time-Out

Conﬁguring Telnet Idle Time-Out

You can conﬁgure the amount of time an idle Telnet connection to the IntraStack remains active via the swAgentSW menu.

If a Telnet connection to the IntraStack remains idle for the number of speciﬁed time-out minutes, the remote Telnet connection to the IntraSt- ack is automatically disabled.

To conﬁgure the IntraStack’s Telnet idle time-out:

Do not select anything on the front-panel image. (This selects the entire device).

Click swAgentSW.

The Switch Agent Software Group table appears, similar to Figure 4-15.

Type the number of minutes for the time-out period in the Telnet TimeOut ﬁeld.

Click Apply.

The Telnet idle time-out period is conﬁgured.
