Pick-up
You may answer the call on your handset when another telephone rings. If you are assigned to a group, this also works in an undirected way for any tele- phone within the group. You require a code to do this. These codes can be ob- tained from the system administrator.
General pick-up
Another telephone rings, e.g. 3050.

Enter the code, e.g. STAR 2 3.

Enter the number of the ringing telephone, e.g. 3 0 5 0.
Lift the handset.
