Muting the microphone

You may switch off the microphone on your handset while telephoning. The handset remains switched on. Your call partner cannot hear you, but you can hear him.

You are speaking on the handset.

To switch off microphone: press key 1 for a long period. appears in the dis- play.

Reactivating the microphone

The microphone is off. appears in the display.

To switch on microphone: press key 1 for a long period. You may continue tel- ephoning.

NOTE

If you end a call with the microphone muted, the microphone will be automatically reactivated when the next call is made.
