Wireless LAN (point-to-point) is also possible (using the PCMCIA connection on the projector ) and comple-
ments the functionality of direct cabling.
14.2 Networkfunctionality
What can be done ?
Thenetwork functionality allows the projector to perform several network functions thanks to network features which are req uired in
most corporate environments:
Control& Managem ent : wireless/wired (remote) control and monitoring of the projector(s) thanks to a user-friendly GUI (the
Client software).
Diagnostics : diagnostics through a user-friendly GUI and automatic E-mail sending.
Easyfile (MS Pow erPoint,...) manipulation and projection using the DropZone interface.
Remotecontrol of the projector by allowing the desktop to be shared over the network (the DropZo ne interface).
Streamingmedia : Theprojector’s onboard computer is streaming video data ready, i.e. allowingthe decoding of video stream-
ing data coming from a server via the LAN.
