Also, you could use the console server default username and pas sw ord when you set up the
new Remote Desktop User and gave this User permission to use the advance connect i on to
access the Windows computer:
The console server default Username i s portXX where XX is the serial port number on the
console server.
The default Password is portXX
To use the default s f or a RDP connection to t he serial port 2 on the console serv er, you would
have set up a Windows user named port02.
When the PPP connection has been set up, a network icon will appear in the Windows task bar.
