The USB1.1 port is best reserved for u se with an external USB memory stick dedi cated to recovery
firmware boot images/ extended log fi l e st orage etc.

2.6 Antenna and SIM

The LES1408A , LES1416A, LES1432A and LES1448A cons ol e servers also hav e an i nternal CDMA
cellular modem requiring external anten na connection.
The LES1308A, LES1316A, LES1332A and LES1348A console servers have an int ernal GSM cellular
modem that requires a SIM card and an external antenna.
Before powering on the consol e server:
Screw the external antenna coax cable onto the MAIN
screw mount SMA connector on the rear of the
console server (2).
The AUX connector can be used either for receive
diversity or for GPS.
Your GSM cellular carrier will provide you with a SIM
card. Insert the SIM card (1.) and it will lock int o place.
Take care to insert SIM card with contact s f acing
downwards.
