Document Jams and Paper Jams

Error Messages

Error Message	Cause	Action

TONER LOW	If the display shows TONER	Order a new toner cartridge
	LOW and the Toner Empty	now.
	LED on the control panel is
	blinking, you can still print.
	But the toner is depleted and
	the machine is telling you that
	the toner will soon run out.

WARMING UP	The print head detects low	Wait until the machine
	temperature.	warms up.

Document Jams and Paper Jams

Based upon where the original document or printed sheet is jammed, follow the appropriate set of instructions to remove it.

Document Jam in the Top of the ADF Unit

1Remove any paper from the

ADF that is not jammed.

2 Lift the ADF cover.

3 Pull out the jammed original to the left.

4 Close the ADF cover.

5 Press Stop .

Document Jam Inside the ADF Unit

1 Open the document cover.
2	Remove any paper from the	ADF Unit
	ADF that is not jammed.

3 Lift the ADF unit.

4 Pull out the jammed document to the right.

5 Close the ADF unit.

6 Press Stop .
