Connecting to a PC (For Printing/Scanning)

Before You Begin (For Windows®Only)

Before you can print from or scan to your PC, you must follow the connection and Brother Drivers Installation instructions in this chapter to connect the copier/printer to your PC.

Before you install the Brother Printer and Scanner Drivers, you must read the README.WRI file in the root directory of the CD-ROM (or Floppy Disks) for important last-minute installation information and troubleshooting tips.

If You Don’t Have a CD-ROM Drive

All software is supplied on CD-ROM. If you need a Floppy Disk version for DCP-1200’s Printer and Scanner Drivers (DSK1231), call Brother at

To order the appropriate set of disks, you must tell the Brother Representative the version of Windows® you are using and your Brother model number.
