Problem 1: The selected Media Size is not correct for the media loaded in the paper supply source.
Solution: Confirm the current selection for the Media Size. If the setting is not correct, stop the print job, select the correct setting, then start the print job again.
Problem 2: Print media is curled or creased.
Solution: Remove the creasing or curling then start the print job again.
Problem 3: Platen is stained.
Solution: Load more than 2 sheets wider than the smeared media, then perform “Feed/Exit” on the operation
White or Dark Streaks Visible.
Problem 1: Printhead is out of alignment.
Solution: When printing on plain paper, use the printer operation panel to perform band adjustment with the “Band Adjust” item.
Problem 2: The amount of paper feed from the paper cassette is incorrect.
Solution: If the media loaded in the cassette is plain paper, follow the procedure below.
1.On the operation panel, perform “LF Adjust” to print the line feed setting pattern.
2.If the line feed setting pattern is printed with streaks, perform “Paper Adjust” for each type of the media on the operation panel.
3.If the printer still prints streaks after performing “Paper Adjust”, perform “Band Adjust” on the operation panel.
Solution: If the media loaded in the cassette is not plain paper, perform “LF Adjust” on the operation panel.
Problem 3: The types of the media loaded in the cassette and the type of the media selected for Paper Adjust do not match.
Solution: Select correct setting for “Paper Adjust”.
