Ink consumption exceedingly high.

Problem 1: Date and time settings of the Server or one or more the Client computers in the network where the printer is connected are not correct.

Solution: Check the date and time settings of all the computers and correct the settings so they are the same.

Solution: On the operation panel, set “Cleaning at ON” as Off. (ÆP.5-13) If “Off” is selected, clean the printhead regularly by every 1 to 2 months.

Problem 2: The printer power cord is being frequently removed and re-inserted into the power supply.

Solution: On the operation panel, set “Cleaning at ON” as Off. (ÆP.5-13) If “Off” is selected, clean the printhead regularly by every 1 to 2 months.

Problem 3: Printing a color image over a large printing area.

Solution: Printing a photograph or other large image normally consumes a large amount of ink. This is not abnormal.

The printer does not print correctly, even after a printhead cleaning.

Problem 1: Ink flow is not performed properly to fill the printhead after a printhead cleaning because there is not enough ink left in the ink tank.

Solution: Replace the ink tank with a new tank, and then perform another printhead cleaning. (ÆP.6-2)
