How to Replace the Printhead

To replace the printhead, you must execute the “Replace Head” feature of the Utility Menu and follow the order of the messages on the printer operation panel to complete the following tasks:

• Set the printer offline

• Execute “Replace Head”

• Remove all ink tanks

• Drain all ink from the printhead then remove the printhead

• Install the new printhead

• Install all ink tanks

• When ink filling processing is completed, press the Online button

1 Press the Power button to set the printer on.

After a few seconds “Ready” is displayed in the operation panel and the Online lamp lights.

2 Press the Online button to switchtheOnline lamp off.

The printer is set offline.
