Cleaning the Printhead

• If 3 consecutive cleanings with Head Cleaning B does not solve the problem, then perform Head Cleaning C.

• If Head Cleaning C does not restore normal operation of the printhead, then the printhead is damaged and should be replaced. (ÆP.6-11)

1 Press the Power button to switch theprinter on.

After a few seconds “Ready” is displayed in the operation panel and the Online lamp lights.

2 Press the Online button to switch theOnline lamp off.

The printer is set offline.

3 Press the Cancel Job/Utility button.

The Utility Menu opens on the operation panel.
