x Ink Check

Problem 1: Ink in the ink tank of the displayed color (x = Y, M, PM, C, PC, Bk) is running low.

Solution: Read the message and select the correct color ink tank for replacement. Make sure that the new ink tank is installed correctly.

Ink level ?

Problem 1: The ink level detection function is set to off.

Solution: The message is displayed when the print job is executed, and the printer is set to offline. Press the Online button to continue the print job.

Solution: To retrieve the ink level display, replace the ink tanks specified for use with this printer.

Ext. I/F Error

Problem 1: An error occurred during data transfer at the network interface board.

Solution: Press the Online button. However, the print job data stream cannot be printed.

Cover Open

Problem 1: The cover named in the second line of the printer operation panel display is open.

Solution: Close the appropriate cover.

Media Misfeed

Problem 1: Paper or other print media did not feed.

Solution: Remove the sheet or stack, load it again, then press the Online button. (ÆP.2-8)

Problem 2: Paper has jammed in the printer.

Solution: Remove the jammed sheet. (ÆP.7-20)

Problem 3: Transparency sheet (OHP film) could not feed from the paper cassette.

Solution: Place 1 sheet of plain paper under the bottom transparency, then set the transparencies in the paper cassette. (ÆP.2-11)
