9 Look at the Adjust Paper pattern and determine the number of the horizontal line that is least conspicuous. Press ￿ or ￿ to display the number then press ￿.

The selected setting is prefixed with an equals sign (=) to denote the current setting.

zIf you want to print with higher print quality, perform “Print Pattern B” and adjust the setting after performing “Print Pattern A”. Repeat the same procedure from Step 3 to Step 9 to perform “Print Pattern B”. In that case, select Print Pattern in Step 7. After selecting “Print Pattern B”, perform “Adj. Setting” again.

10 After adjustment of the LF setting is finished, press the Online button to switch the Online lamp on. ￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿

When “Ready” is displayed on the operation panel, the printer is ready to print.

Note

z If you mistakenly alter the settings on the operation panel, the printer may print white or dark streaks.

z However the setting value of the print patterns may show different numbers from -28 - +28, you can not select these numbers on the operation panel.
