The computer does not resume from Sleep or Hibernation mode.
zThe computer automatically enters Sleep or Hibernation mode when the battery pack is empty. Do any one of the following:
−Connect the AC adapter to the computer.
−Replace the empty battery pack with a fully charged one.
The computer does not enter Hibernation mode with the Fn+F12 hot keys.
zMake sure that the Hibernation function is specified for the sleep button.
zYou might be using a PC or other card that prevents the computer from entering Hibernation mode. To enter the mode, stop the communication program and then remove the card or stop the card.
Software Problems
An application program does not work correctly.
zMake sure that the software is correctly installed.
zIf an error message appears on the screen, consult the software program’s documentation for further information.
zIf you are sure the operation has stop, reset the computer. (See “Resetting the Computer” later in this chapter.)
Sound Problems
No sound is produced.
zMake sure that the volume control is not set too low.
zMake sure that the computer is not in Sleep mode.
zIf using an external speaker, make sure that the speaker is properly connected.
