The error correction feature of your modem software is interfering.

To obtain the disable call waiting code for your dialing area, consult your local telephone service provider.

Connect the modem to a standard analog telephone line, then reestablish the connection.

Disable error correction (&KO) and data compression (&MO) using AT commands.
