4: Configuring the Web Interface

Field Name	Definition
SysContact	The email of the person to contact regarding the
	host on which the agent is running
	(e.g., me@mymachine.mydomain)

SysLocation	The physical location of the system
	(e.g., mydomain).

If you are using SNMPv3, skip steps 2 and 3; proceed to step 4.

3.To Add an SNMP agent using SNMPv1/SNMP2 Configuration, select the Add button located at the bottom of this view table.

The system invokes the New/Modify v1 v2 Configuration dialog box:

Field Name	Definition
Community	The password used to authenticate messages sent
	between the SNMP client and the router containing
	the SNMP server.

Source	The IP addresses or the range of source IP address.

OID	Object Identifier.
