QThe Internal Network Option of the Nexus Meter is an extremely versatile communications tool.
·Adheres to IEEE 802.3 ethernet standard using TCP/IP.
·Utilizes simple and inexpensive 10/100BaseT wiring and connections.
·Plugs right into your network using built-in RJ-45 jack.
·Programmable to any IP address, subnet mask and gateway requirements.
·Communicates using the industry standard Modbus/TCP protocol.
QWith the Internal Network Option, the standard Port 2 on the Nexus 1250/1252 becomes a
“gateway” to allow additional Nexus Meters access via the LAN. Simply connect a daisy chain of
Nexus Meters together via RS-485, each with its own device address and using the same baud rates.
With this option, you can access any of those instruments via the single LAN connection.
QThe Internal Network Option allows multiple simultaneous connections (via LAN) to the Nexus.
You can access the Nexus with SCADA, MV90 and RTU all at the same time.
QThe Internal Network Option allows multiple users running Communicator EXT software to access
the meter concurrently.
