Personal Injury or Short Circuits Blade or Power Supply

In case the ORing diodes of the product fail, the product may trigger a short circuit between input line A and input line B so that line A remains powered even if it is disconnected from the power supply circuit (and vice versa).

To avoid damage or injury, always check that there is no more voltage on the line that has been disconnected before continuing your work.

Personal Injury

At the system’s rear there are sharp pins which can cause injury.

Be careful when handling the system.

Data Loss and Product Damage

Following the emergency power off procedure results in data loss and may damage chassis components in a running system.

Use this method only when normal shutdown procedures cannot be followed.

Configuration Switches/Jumpers

Product Malfunction

Switches marked as “Reserved” might carry production-related functions and can cause the product to malfunction if their setting is changed.

Do not change settings of switches marked as “reserved”.

Product Damage

Setting/resetting the switches during operation can cause damage to the product.

Check and change switch settings before you install the product.

System Damage

Wrong jumper settings can make the shelf inoperable.

Never change the settings of the jumpers.
