DNever turn off or reset your computer while a disk drive light is on. This can destroy data stored on disk or make an entire disk unusable.
C! Always wait at least five seconds after you turn off the power before you turn it on again. Turning the power off and on rapidly can damage the computer’s circuitry.
DDo not leave a beverage on top of or next to your system or any of its components. Spilled liquid can damage the circuitry of your components.
Follow these steps to turn on your system:
1.Make sure the power cord is plugged into the AC power inlet on the back panel of the computer and into a three- prong, 120~volt, grounded electrical outlet.
2.Turn on the monitor, printer, and any other peripheral devices connected to the computer. (Always turn on the monitor and any peripheral devices before you turn on the computer.)
3.To turn on the power, press the power button in the upper right corner of the computer’s front panel.
