IR Learning
The IR learning transceiver sensor on the MLC front or left side panel can receive and “learn” commands from the infrared remote controls of other devices via the MLC configuration software. IR Learning enables you to create an IR driver file to control the projector or input devices such as a VCR or DVD player. IR Learning of projector control codes is necessary only if there is no driver available for your projector or if you need to customize the driver.
The IR transceiver accepts infrared signals of 30 kHz to 60 kHz. Point the IR remote control directly at the transceiver for best results. The diagrams below indicate the best distances and angles at which to hold the remote control.
