SNTP (Simple Network Time Protocol) Commands

Command Reference

7.6.4.3 logging host

This command enables logging to a host where up to eight hosts can be configured.

Syntax

logging host <hostaddress> [ <port>] [[<severitylevel> <0-7>]]

<hostaddress> - IP address of the log server. <port> - Port number.

[<severitylevel> <0-7>] - The value is specified as either an integer from 0 to 7 or symbolically through one of the following keywords: emergency (0), alert (1), critical (2), error (3), warning (4), notice (5), informational (6), debug (7).

Privileged Exec

This command disables logging to hosts.

Syntax

logging host remove <hostindex>

<hostindex > - Index of the log server.
