What is in this guide
This user guide gives you step-by-step instructions on how to install, configure and connect the Galaxy
65 storage Subsystem to your host computer system, and how to use and maintain the system.
Who should use this guide
This user guide assumes that you have a working knowledge of the Fibre Channel environment into
which you are installing the Galaxy 65 system. If you do not have these skills, or are not confident with
the instructions in this guide, do not proceed with the installation.

Note This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a class A digital device, pursuant
to Part 15 of the FCC rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This equipment generates,
uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this
equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be
required to correct the interference at his own expense.
Properly shielded and grounded cables and connectors must be used in order to meet FCC emission
limits. The supplier is not responsible for any radio or television interference caused by using other than
recommended cables and connectors or by unauthorized changes or modifications to this equipment.
Unauthorized changes or modifications could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
