Initial Settings
SWITCHING OPERATING SOUND ON OR OFF (BEEP)
On Beep is heard when the power switch ischanged over, the REC button is
)ressed, etc.
Off No beep is heard.
Press the MENU
button, use "Operating
Menu" (p.64) tochoose
"Beep" on the "Initial
Setup" inenu screen,
and then press theI_/||
button.
2Select"On" o1""Off",and then press tileI_'/||
hutton.
3Press the MENU button to end the setting.
Note:
The 'Beep" setting wiltbe stored in memory even when
the DVD video camera/recorder is turned off
TURNING DVD VIDEO CAMERA/RECORDER OFF AUTOMATICALLY
(POWER SAVE)
To engage power save. If the DVD video camera/recorder isleft in the recording
On )ause status without being operated for 5 minutes, itwill automatically turn off to
)revent the battery from discharging needlessly.
Off Tocancel power save.

screen, and then press
the I_'/|| button.
Select "On" o1""Off". and then press the I_/ll
button.
Note:
•Toturn the DVD video camera/recorder on again from
automatic off activated by the power save function,
set the power switch to "OFF", and then set itto "_H",
"(3" or "[]"
• The Power Save setting willnot appear inthe on-
screen information display.
• ThePower Save setting witl be stored in memory
even when the DVDvideo camera/recorder is turned
off
3Press the MENU button to end the setting.
