DIRECTING SCENES EFFECTIVELY (EFFECT -FADE)

You can add finding to thebeginning and/or end ofscene.
There are three types of special effects:
FadeOut FadeOut Fade Out
Fade In Fade In
White:
Fades in from white screen
Fades out to white screen
Wipe:
Fades in from black screen
to vertical direction ofscreen
Fades oat from verticaI
direction of screen to black
screen

B/W:
Fades in from Black and
White screen tocolor screen
Fades oat from cotor screen
to Black and White screen

1 Press the DISC NAVIGATION bntton.

2Select the scene fin"adding special effects.
3Press the MENU bntton.
4Choose, "Scene',
"Effect', "Fade" and
then press tileI_/ll
button.

5 The "Fade Set" screen

will appear: Ifyou are

sure you want to add tile titde eft)ct totile

scene, press the I_'/|| button.

Ifyon want to change tile scene to which titde
isadded, you can change it on thisscreen.
Select the special eftbcts
tbr "IN" and/or
"OUT". choose "Enter",
and then press tile I_/11
button.
You can use 1_14/_1,'1 to

move the cursor to "IN", "OUT", "Enter" or

"Cancel".

Use 'It,I/1_1_to choose theeffect to be added,

and then press _'/|| to set tile eftect.

Tocancel setting, choose "Cancel".

Ifyou choose "Enter" and press I,,/11, tile
"Fade Set" screen will be restored after a
message appears.
Repeat steps 5and 6 to add fi_de to other
scenes.
7 Press the • hntton toquit.
The "_1" and/or "•" icon(s) will appear in
the scenes %r which tilde in and/or fi_deout
have been set.
