User-Programmable Supplementals

When Supplemental User-Programmable option is selected from Decode UPC/EAN Supplementals, select User- Programmable Supplemental 1 to set the 3-digit prefix. Then select the 3 digits using the Keypad Number Symbols (page 4-72).

When Supplemental User-Programmable option is selected from Decode UPC/EAN Supplementals, select User- Programmable Supplemental 2 to set the 3-digit prefix. Then select the 3 digits using the Keypad Number Symbols (page 4-72).

Decode UPC/EAN Supplemental Redundancy

Default: 7 Times

With Autodiscriminate UPC/EAN Supplementals selected, this option adjusts the number of times a symbol without supplementals will be decoded before transmission. The range is from 2 to 20 times. Five or above is recommended when decoding a mix of UPC/EAN symbols with and without supplementals, and the autodiscriminate option is selected.

Next, scan two numeric bar codes that correspond to the desired value using the Keypad Number Symbols (page 4-72). Single digit numbers must have a leading zero.
