Monitoring and Testing

Overview

The DSU/CSU can detect and report faults, and perform diagnostic tests. These features ensure that your DSU/CSU is giving you optimum performance in your network.

Self-Test Results

Use the System and Test Status screen to display the results of the power-on self-test. Possible messages are listed in Table 5-1.

See Chapter 2, Installation, for more information about power-on self-test.

"Procedure

To display power-on self-test results:

1.From the Main Menu screen, select Status.

2.From the Status screen, select System and Test Status.
