Password/Callback Authentication Method
If Password/Callback was selected as the primary authentication method, the terminal server will display the following information.
Field | Function |
Enter a password | The password may be up to 15 alphanumeric |
| characters. Asterisks appear on the screen as |
| you type to prevent your password being |
| displayed on the screen. Press Enter. |
| NOTE: Passwords are case sensitive. |
Verify password | Retype the password exactly as you entered it the |
| first time, and then press Enter. |
Access Options | Press the space bar until the desired choice is |
| displayed. Three options are available: Regular |
| Callback, Passthru and Variable Callback. Each |
| option is discussed in subsequent paragraphs. |
Access Option: Regular Callback
Regular Callback requires the user to have a specific phone number listed in the terminal server user database, in addition to the password. The user calls the terminal server and enters their user name and password. After receiving the information the terminal server terminates the call and dials the caller back using the number in its database for that user. The user is requested to
