Network Setup—Continued

Client Sub-menu

While the system sending information is called a server, the machine receiving the data is called a “client.” Multiple clients can be connected to a single server. From the viewpoint of the Network Audio Server, the DTR-10.5 is a client.

a. Client Name

Confirm the client name used on the Net-Tune system. The client name is assigned by the DTR-10.5. You cannot change the assigned name.

b. Wakeup on LAN

Specify the network condition on standby of the DTR-10.5.

Enable: To be left connected.

Disable: To be disconnected while the DTR-10.5 is on standby to save electricity.

c. NTSP Port

Specify the TCP/IP port to communicate with the Network Audio Server. This setting is to determine the port for intercommunication and needs to match the setting at the Network Audio Server. Do not change the port number unless absolutely necessary. Press the [ ]/ [ ]/[ ]/[ ] buttons to select numerics, and then press the [Enter] button. When all numerics are entered, exit from the character entry mode.

Note:

When the settings are complete, press the [Return] button to return to the Network Setup menu. Use the

[ ]/[ ] buttons to select “Save Settings,” and then press the [ ] button to save settings described in “Network Setup” on page 122. After setting, saving data will take a few seconds. While saving data, be sure not to turn off the power, otherwise the data will be lost.
