NOTE

By default, the RJ-45 serial port is configured to support a DSR signal.

For serial devices that require a DSR signal (default), the J5A2 jumper must be configured in position 3-4 (Figure 3, B).

For serial devices that require a DCD signal, the jumper must be in position 1-2 (Figure 3, A).

For server applications that require a DB9 serial connector, you must use an 8-pin RJ-45-to-DB9 adapter. The following table defines the pin-out required for the adapters to provide RS232 support.
