TROUBLESHOOTING AND COMPONENT REPLACEMENT

ERROR CODE D1500 Encoder misread error JtXX.

Immediately after control power on, steady encoder data is not able to be read. This

error is caused by a disconnected encoder signal line or a short circuit, or a defect in the

main body of the encoder.

Main causes include:

1. Defective encoder or encoder harness.

2. Defective servo weld gun encoder (detected at controller power-up/power-down with

gun connected.

3. Servo weld gun is not connected.

4. Defective 1KB board.

5. Defective 1FG/1HG board.
