Refer to page 4-10 for the procedure for servic-
ing the door switch.
1. Unplug range or disconnect power.
2. Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale.
3. Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the door
switch terminals. The meter should indi-
cate an open circuit (infinite).
4. Press the actuator button and the meter
should indicate continuity (0 ).

Refer to page 4-10 for the procedure for servic-
ing the door latch assembly.
1. Unplug range or disconnect power.
2. Disconnect one of the wires from the door
latch assembly component under test.
3. Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1K scale.
4. To test the solenoid, touch the ohmme-
ter test leads to the terminals. The meter
should indicate between 3000 and 3800
.
5. To test the door latch switch:
a) Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the
COM and N.O. terminals. The meter
should indicate an open circuit (infinite).
b) With the ohmmeter leads connected as
stated in the previous step, press the
switch actuator. The meter should in-
dicate continuity (0 ).
