c)Lay the element and limiter on a work surface. Remove the screws from the limiter and remove it from the element. NOTE: Be careful when you remove the limiter that you do not break the sensor tube (see below).

6.To remove the hot surface indicator assembly:
a)Disconnect the hot surface indicator wires.

b)Grasp the hot surface indicator assem- bly and push it toward the front of the unit, then pull down the rear edge, unclip the locking arms from the cooktop, and remove the assembly.
