Understanding the printer menus		152
	Use	To
	Home screen customization	Change the icons that appear on the home screen.
	Change Language	For each icon, select from the following options:
	Copy	Display
	Copy Shortcuts	Do Not display
	Fax	Notes:
	Fax Shortcuts
		• Display is the factory default setting for Copy, Fax, E‑mail,
	E‑mail
	E‑mail Shortcuts	FTP, Search Held Jobs, Held Jobs, USB Drive, Forms and
		Favorites, Card Copy, Scan to Network, MyShortcut, and
	FTP
		Multisend.
	FTP Shortcuts
		• Do not display is the factory default setting for Change
	Search Held Jobs
		Language, Copy Shortcuts, Fax Shortcuts, E‑mail Shortcuts,
	Held Jobs
		FTP Shortcuts, Profiles and Apps, Bookmarks, and Jobs by
	USB Drive	user.

	Date Format	Format the printer date.
	MM‑DD‑YYYY	Notes:
	DD‑MM‑YYYY	• MM‑DD‑YYYY is the U.S. factory default setting.
	YYYY‑MM‑DD
		• DD-MM-YYYY is the international factory default setting.
	Time Format	Format the printer time.
	12 hour A.M./P.M.	Note: 12 hour A.M./P.M. is the factory default setting.
	24 hour clock
	Screen Brightness	Specify the brightness of the control panel screen.
	20–100	Note: 100 is the factory default setting.
	One Page Copy	Set copies from the scanner glass to only one page at a time.
	Off	Note: Off is the factory default setting.
	On
	Output Lighting	Set the amount of light from the standard bin.
	Normal/Standby Mode	Notes:
	Off
		• Dim is the factory default setting if Eco-Mode is set to Energy
	Dim
		or Energy/Paper.
	Bright
		• Bright is the factory default setting if Eco-Mode is set to
		Paper or Off.
